About

“All art is autobiographical. The pearl is the oyster’s autobiography.” – Federico Fellini

This site showcases artwork and photography by Rani Bajaj, who after a long gap of several years, has started rediscovering her talents. She holds a full-time job and painting and photography for her are hobbies which she now pursues with a renewed passion, and tries to devote all her spare time to them.

Initially working with watercolors, she has now moved on to Oil painting, and loves to experiment with the palette knife as well. Apart from that, she has tried her hand at other art forms like Madhubani, Sanjhi Art & Embroidery. Although she has not yet adopted any particular “style” of painting, she is deeply inspired by artists like Leonid Afremov, she is fascinated with palette knife painting, and loves using vibrant colours in all her palette knife creations.

Also an amateur photographer, she clicks away at anything that catches her fancy, and loves nature as well as historical places. While travelling she always ensures that she has her camera handy with her, and shoots at anything that she likes. When not armed with her camera, she uses her cellphone to capture images.
